Answers To Tough Questions:
In Psalm 41:4, Amplified Bible, the Psalminest asked Got to heal his innerself.  Jesus said in Luke 4:18 that He was annointed to heal the broken hearted and to set liberty those that are bruised.  Inner healing is the healing of wounds and hurts - that are deep within the inner person (the soul).  These are wounds that were caused by hurtful experiences usually during childhood.  Many of these more extream hurts can carry forward even into adulthood.  This is why Jusus said - He has come to set free those who were bruised.
Q: -
What is inner healing?

What is deliverance?
In Luke 4:18, Jusus said He has come to preach deliverance to the captives.  The forerunner to this is Isaiah 61:1 - which states, that He would proclaim liberty to the captives and open the prison doors to those that are bound.  The word "deliverance" in the Bible means to deliver out of danger with a gentle hand from the hand of the enemy.  In another place it means to be plucked out of the hands of an oppressor or enemy through the bursting of bonds.  When Jesus sent the disciples out (Mark 3:13-15), He told them to cast out evil spirits.  If unclean spirits are present within a person, they need to be cast out so that the person can be free and experience the abundant life - Other references include Luke 10:17-19 and Mark 16:17.
Q: -
When Christians are delivered from an evil spirit, do they need to be constantly fearful of the spirit coming back and bringing seven more with it? (reference: Matthew 12:43-45.)
A: -
No.  If you will go back to Matthew 12:28, you will find that Jesus was talking to the unbelieving Jews.  In verse 44, He was explaining that if they continued to reject Him as the Messiah and kept their minds void of the truth, the spirits would come back.  In verse 45, He makes it clear that they represented a wicked (unbelieving) generation.
Q: -
If a person goes through inner healing, do they still need deliverence?
A: -
Yes, in most cases.  Those kinds of hurtful events that can cause a broken heart or a deep inner wound - usually happen where there is no spiritual protection.  This can leave the door open for an unclean spirit that is specific to the cause of the wound.  For example:  rejection, fear, distrust, shame, etc.
Q: -
Can a Christian be demon possessed?
A: -
No.  According to Psalm 107:2, those who believe in and have recieved Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior have been redeemed (purchased) from the hands of the enemy. Possession implies ownership and according to Acts 20:28, Christians belong to (are possessed, owned) by God.  So, Christians who are owned by God cannot be owned by the devil or demons, but they can be influenced, and to some degree, controlled by demons.
